Photos of Guided Fishing Trips from around East Texas with Capt Larry
Fairfield Lake Fishing Guide Service
Captain Larry is guiding on Lake Lavon exclusively at this time
Fairfield Lake is warmed by the TXU Big Brown power plant. Because of the warm water, people come from all over Texas to enjoy
some fantastic winter fishing opportunities. From November through February, there are tournaments every weekend. Fishing Clubs from
the Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Waco, Austin, and Tyler areas host tournaments here. Why drive all the way to the Texas Gulf Coast
to enjoy fishing for Red Drum? What makes Fairfield different then most lakes is that, because of the warm winter temperatures, it
is stocked with Red Drum (aka Redfish). The state record for Inland Red Drum was taken here at Fairfield Lake. (44 inches, 36.83 lbs.)

A TYPICAL FAIRFIELD LAKE GUIDED FISHING TRIP
WITH CAPT LARRY
A trip with Fairfield
Lake fishing guide, Larry Lawley, is something to look forward to, even in the dead of winter. Because of the warmth provided
by the power plant, fish of multiple species will be on the prowl even when they have become inactive at
other waters across Texas.
Fairfield
Lake holds the Texas state record for freshwater redfish, and there are plenty of monsters to be caught here, but be prepared...
even a ten pound redfish will give you the fight of lifetime! In addition to redfish, Capt Larry's Fairfield Lake guide service
will give you the opportunity to catch some of the largest bluegill in Texas, and maybe even find some very tasty tilapia!
For
